Ministries - Music Ministry

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."   Colossians 3:16

The purpose of the music ministry is to plan, administer, train and enhance the music and song of the Church.  The choir's primary responsibility is to lead the congregation during worship.  The choir sings FOR and TO the congregation, but WITH the congregation as well.  The choir is also congregation, therefore, worship is more important than being in the choir.

The choir sponsors workshops to enhance their ministy and sharpen their toos, as well as seek biblical understanding of music and worship.  The choir also accompanies the Pastor when the Church fellowships with other churches, and sponsors concerts for special occasions.

The Church celebrates and encourages the work of the music ministry by setting aside an annual day called MUSIC MINISTRY SUNDAY, which is an entire weekend of workshops, study, and worship.

The Music Ministry is a compendium of all the musical groups in the Church.  This includes the following:  The Sanctuary Choir, Men's Chorus, Youth Choir and Children's Choir.

Our Minister of Minister is Rev. T.J. Mullen who is a gifted and talented musician.
